National Institute of Clinical Research, a research organization serving the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, is searching for a highly experienced Medical Assistant with Phlebotomy experience to assist our research coordinators in clinical trials.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Research Study Coordinator in recruiting subjects for assigned clinical trials.
- Coordinate research activities and visits for subjects enrolled in research projects.
- Schedule research visits for subjects enrolled in clinical trials.
- Perform EKG, routine phlebotomy, and other lab assessments such as vital signs.
- Obtain necessary lab results for subjects.
- Assist the study coordinator in reviewing and requesting medical records.
- Use PC software applications including word processing; willingness and ability to learn new software programs.
Requirements
- Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist with at least two to three years of clinical experience (certification preferred) or a laboratory technician with at least two to three years of clinical experience.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly preferred.
