Our virtual medical receptionists are the compassionate first point of contact—handling scheduling, insurance verification, and patient intake across a national network of clinics. You’ll work remotely with a supportive team to deliver efficient, empathetic, and compliance-focused administrative support that keeps healthcare flowing smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Answer and route inbound patient calls with professionalism, accuracy, and empathy—ensuring optimal patient experience.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits in real-time using EHR/EMR systems and payer portals.
• Schedule and manage patient appointments across multiple providers, adjusting for cancellations and rescheduling needs.
• Collect and update patient demographic, consent, and billing information securely within HIPAA-compliant platforms.
• Coordinate with clinical and billing teams to resolve scheduling conflicts, pre-authorizations, or patient inquiries.
• Maintain daily logs, reports, and workflow documentation to ensure operational continuity and audit readiness.

Preferred Qualifications

• Medical terminology certification
• Experience with telehealth platforms (e.g., Doxy.me, Zoom for Healthcare)
• Basic understanding of CPT/ICD-10 coding for appointment tagging
