Medical Receptionist
You will report to the Center Administrator at our onsite outpatient clinic located at the Cayce Clinic.
Responsibilities
- Operates a switchboard or multi-line phone and maintains long-distance call logs.
- Greets visitors and determines the nature of their visit, issues visitor passes, and maintains visitor logs.
- Alerts appropriate party of visitor arrival or directs visitors to the correct office, department, or employee.
- Responds to routine inquiries from internal or external sources regarding the organization’s location, hours of operation, phone numbers, and/or email address.
- Performs miscellaneous administrative activities such as booking meeting rooms, typing, organizing and distributing mail, and receiving and sending courier packages.
This role is patient-facing and part of the company’s Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected, you will be required to undergo TB screening.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1+ years of medical reception experience.
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
- Experience with EMR Systems (Electronic Medical Records).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with a value-based care model.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Pay
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full-time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may vary based on geographic location and individual pay will depend on demonstrated job-related skills, knowledge, experience, education, and certifications.
$38,000 - $45,800 per year.
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
