Medical Receptionist

Join our caring community as the welcoming face of our healthcare facility, ensuring every patient feels valued from the moment they arrive. This onsite role reports to Cody Bartone, Clinic Administrator.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors warmly, in person and over the phone, creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments, manage calendars, and collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient flow.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records using EMR and CRM systems.
• Update patient accounts and collect copays when needed.
• Handle incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and provide general information and empathy.
• Keep the reception area clean, stocked, and organized.
• Assist with supply orders, inventory management, and courier coordination.

Requirements

• 1+ year experience in healthcare customer service; background in retail, hospitality, or call centers also considered.
• Ability to convey information and maintain a positive tone during calls.
• Experience coordinating tasks, resources, and schedules to ensure efficient workflow.
• Proficiency using MS Office tools for reporting, data analysis, and workflow optimization.
• Commitment to improving patient care and experience.
• This is a patient-facing role and part of our Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. TB screening is required upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with EMR systems.

Pay

The starting base pay range for this full-time (40 hours per week) role is $38,000 - $45,800 per year. Geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job-related skills, knowledge, experience, education, and certifications. This role is also eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.

Schedule

40 scheduled weekly hours.
