About the role

Located in the heart of Lafayette, Colorado, Good Samaritan Medical Center is a 234-bed Level II Trauma Center committed to exceptional patient care and community service. Our Cancer Center is part of a collaborative oncology network spanning four hospitals across the Denver area.

Responsibilities

  • Practice in a beautiful location nestled between Denver and Boulder, alongside a team of 11 physicians and 11 APPs.
  • Work 40 hours on a 4-day week, with clinic hours from Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm.
  • Be on call 1:7 for all locations, including Good Samaritan Medical Center, Platte Valley Medical Center, Lutheran Medical Center, and Saint Joseph Hospital.
  • Receive call payments of $450/weeknight and $1,890/weekend.
  • Participate in a robust clinical trials infrastructure enabling participation in cutting-edge trials as part of an integrated cancer research program.
  • Grow the Oncology program in the Denver and surrounding areas with additional FTEs in the future.

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine.
  • Unrestricted physician license in the state of CO or ability to obtain.
  • Fellowship trained in Hematology/Oncology.
  • American Board certification or eligibility in the designated discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years of practice experience is preferred, but new graduates are welcomed to apply.

Pay

Compensation: Our compensation plan is standard across the Denver Front Range. We offer a salary of $576,015 plus a wRVU production incentive. Call is paid out from first call shift at $450/weeknight and $1,890/weekend. Additionally, we are offering a $25,000 Sign on Bonus. A relocation bonus is also available to qualified candidates.

Schedule

Actual weekly hours are 40, with clinic hours from Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm. The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. $7.25 - $999.99
