Medical Office Assistant
MUST HAVE:
- 1-2 years of medical office assistant, medical assistant, clinical, or similar experience.
Description
Checking patients in and out of their appointments. This individual will be sitting at the front desk. They will be entering charges, taking calls from internal employees, using IDX software and MedConnect, and collecting copays. They will be answering phones, ensuring patient flow and comfort, handling financial aspects like copays, and verifying insurance information using IDX. They will also assist providers with various processes, communicate with staff and providers on MedConnect, update patient demographic information accurately into the system, and assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 2-3 years of medical office assistant, medical front desk, medical assistant experience or something related.
- A High School Diploma.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Baltimore, MD.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
