About the role

Oversee and manage the delivery of medical supplies and equipment to VTH departments. Provides outstanding customer relations and assists VTH Pharmacy as necessary. Other duties include inventory, purchasing, reconciliation, compliance with local, state, and federal laws and distribution of equipment and supplies. Responsible for Narcotics/Controlled Substances inventory and discrepancies while complying with DEA guidelines and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the delivery of medical supplies and equipment to VTH departments.
• Provide outstanding customer relations and assist VTH Pharmacy as necessary.
• Perform inventory, purchasing, reconciliation, and distribution of equipment and supplies.
• Manage Narcotics/Controlled Substances inventory and address discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and DEA guidelines.

Requirements

• High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
• Six months to one year of related experience preferably in a medical or veterinary setting.
• Certifications, Registrations, And/or Licenses: Valid Driver’s License. Shipping Training Certification after hire.

Qualifications

• High School/GED
• Preferred: More than two years of experience in medical logistics.

Skills, Proficiencies, And/or Knowledge

• MS Office experience
• Familiarity with pharmaceuticals and medical supplies including units of measure.

Pay

$15.50 - $20.50 hourly

Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
