Medical Laboratory Technician / Technologist - Summit Medical Central Lab

Summit Medical Group’s Central Laboratory is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our team in our new laboratory, which opened in the summer of 2023 and features many new lab instruments.

About the role

This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week opportunity with no weekends or holidays. Frequent four-day weekends (Friday through Monday) are scheduled off.

Schedule

Choose between five 8-hour shifts per week or four 10-hour shifts per week.

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in medical technology or a related science preferred
• 1 year of clinical laboratory experience preferred but not required
• ASCP certification required
• Tennessee Medical Technologist General license preferred
