Medical Laboratory Technician / Medical Technologist - Summit Medical Central Lab

Summit Medical Group’s Central Laboratory is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our team in a new laboratory that opened in the summer of 2023, equipped with many new instruments.

About the role

This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week opportunity on the evening shift. You can choose between working five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts per week. No weekends or holidays are required, and frequent four-day weekends (Friday through Monday) are scheduled off.

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in medical technology or a related science (preferred).
• 1 year of clinical laboratory experience (preferred but not required).
• Tennessee Medical Technologist General license (preferred).
• ASCP certification (required).
