Medical Laboratory Technician / Technologist

Actalent is hiring for multiple Medical Laboratory Technician positions in the Columbus, Ohio area. These roles involve hands-on medical laboratory testing of patient samples.

About the role

• Perform laboratory testing on patient samples
• Conduct phlebotomy on some patients
• Monitor and operate high-tech instrumentation, reporting results accurately and rapidly
• Follow established safety procedures, including Universal Precautions and proper use of safety equipment
• Perform routine scheduled and specialized maintenance of laboratory equipment
• Teach laboratory procedures to other Technologists and Technicians

Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent field
• ASCP Certification is not required but must be open to obtaining it in the future

Pay

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00 per hour. Individual compensation within this range will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other job-related factors.
