Medical Laboratory Technician (Night Shift)

Job Summary Performs and reports clearly defined laboratory procedures using laboratory skills to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsible for assigned shifts with potential overtime and callbacks. Completes additional duties as assigned. Responsibilities Receives, identifies, organizes, and prioritizes specimens for accurate and timely testing.Conducts and reports laboratory procedures.Performs quality control, proficiency testing, routine instrument maintenance, and inventory management.Ensures positive patient identification to minimize errors and adverse outcomes.Supports ongoing professional development.Achieves assigned goals effectively. Qualifications & Skills Completion of an accredited MLT program required; no experience necessary.Hospital experience preferred.Basic computer literacy required; proficiency preferred.Temporary state licensure and/or national certification required; full licensure must be obtained within six months.
