Medical Laboratory Scientist/Technician

Join our team as a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Technician, performing and reporting analyses from various specimen sources to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Managing specimen handling, identification, and accessioning procedures
• Performing instrument maintenance, troubleshooting, and quality control
• Using computerized systems for reporting and documentation
• Replenishing supplies and recognizing discrepancies in patient orders
• Assisting in training new employees and participating in ongoing education
• Maintaining productivity and efficiency across multiple work processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant science or Medical Technology/Medical Laboratory Science program (preferred)
• Certifications such as ASCP or NAACLS accreditation (required or eligible for new graduates)
• Experience in clinical laboratory settings is preferred
