Responsibilities

• Managing specimen handling, identification, and accessioning procedures.
• Performing instrument maintenance, troubleshooting, quality control, and reagent replenishment.
• Ensuring accurate reporting using computerized, verbal, and manual methods.
• Utilizing multiple computer applications and assisting in training new staff.
• Maintaining productivity, efficiency, and timely completion of tasks.
• Participating in educational activities and passing competency exams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant science or medical technology (preferred) or an associate degree with certification for Technicians.
• Certification or eligible for certification from an accredited institution.
