This position involves performing clinical duties as a medical laboratory scientist in a high-complexity laboratory and teaching medical laboratory science students in accordance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities

• Perform all laboratory duties, meet competency expectations, and ensure quality results.
• Collaborate with the education team to develop and deliver MLS curricula.
• Maintain confidentiality and report results accurately.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve laboratory issues.
• Engage in continuous quality improvement and professional development.
• Participate in team efforts to optimize workflows and meet organizational goals.
• Model professional behaviors and contribute to scholarly activities.
• Serve on committees and assist with recruitment efforts to support workforce development.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in a related science field or equivalent experience for adjunct candidates.
• Certification such as ASCP/NAACLS in medical technology or laboratory science.
• Experience in clinical laboratory settings and teaching is preferred.
• Strong communication, troubleshooting, and teamwork skills.
