Role Overview: Performs clinical duties as a medical laboratory scientist in a high-complexity lab and teaches students in medical laboratory science, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The role involves a balance of clinical and educational responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: Execute all duties and meet performance expectations of a medical laboratory scientist.Collaborate with the education team to develop and deliver MLS content and materials.Maintain confidentiality of student and patient data.Identify, troubleshoot, resolve, and report issues promptly.Engage in continuous quality improvement and ongoing education.Participate in team efforts to optimize workflows and meet organizational goals.Model professional behaviors and support scholarly activities.Potentially serve on committees and participate in recruitment and professional development events. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience for adjunct roles.Certification in medical technology or laboratory science (e.g., ASCP), with relevant laboratory experience.Strong understanding of clinical laboratory procedures, teaching, and teamwork.
