Medical Laboratory Scientist Educator - Per Diem

This role involves performing clinical duties as a medical laboratory scientist in a high-complexity laboratory and teaching medical laboratory science students. Responsibilities include: Executing all duties and performance expectations of a medical laboratory scientist.Collaborating with the education team to develop and deliver MLS educational content.Maintaining confidentiality of student and patient results.Troubleshooting, resolving issues, and reporting problems appropriately.Engaging in continuous quality improvement and professional development.Participating in teamwork to optimize workflows and meet organizational goals.Modeling professional behaviors and participating in scholarly activities.Serving on committees and supporting recruitment and professional development efforts. Qualifications include: Bachelor's degree in relevant science fields or equivalent experience with certification.For teaching roles, additional certification or experience in laboratory science and education is preferred.Experience in clinical laboratory settings; teaching experience is advantageous. This position is typically performed in a clinical environment and requires adherence to policies and standards.
