Performs a variety of laboratory procedures, some of which are complex, involving numerous steps and techniques, operates various laboratory instruments, and may be required to use independent judgment. The principles and techniques of good laboratory practice are required to produce test results, which aid the physician in diagnosis and treatment.
Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements
- Education: Associate Degree in Clinical Lab Science
- Licensure: Medical Lab Technician Certification
