Medical Imaging Field Engineer - AT/XP - Chattanooga, TN

About the role

Serves as a Medical Imaging Field Engineer 2 in the Chattanooga, Tennessee area, responsible for servicing and maintaining Siemens' imaging equipment at customer sites. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, training operators, managing finances, and establishing business relationships.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain Siemens' medical imaging equipment at customer sites
• Train operators to ensure optimal system performance
• Manage financial performance within the assigned territory
• Manage company assets including a company car, cell phone, computer, tools, inventory parts, etc.
• Establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers
• Perform necessary administrative duties accurately

Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma, Technical Degree or equivalent experience
• 3-5+ Years of field service experience
• Proficient in the use of tools and service test equipment
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to travel and provide service in assigned geography
• Valid driver's license, ability to drive independently day and night, and good driving record required

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience performing service, preventative maintenance and modifications on Medical Imaging Equipment
• Experience in testing, repairing and maintaining capital medical equipment

• Familiarity with Medical Imaging Equipment

• Ability to work independently and in a team setting

Pay

The Base Pay Range For This Position Is $52,420 - $72,072. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Schedule

This role requires a shift after onboarding/training, typically Monday through Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM.
