Responsibilities
- Inpatient and outpatient consultations in Hematology/Oncology disciplines.
- Treatment of all cancer types, including inpatient and post-surgical care as needed.
- Development and provision of treatment plans in the Cancer Center.
- Case management and participation in clinical research.
- Management of complex and unpredictable patient situations.
- Practice within established Medical Center and physician’s standards of practice.
- Support the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Hospital.
Requirements
- Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology.
- Current Medical License in good standing.
- Experience in managing complex oncology cases.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
- Strong interpersonal and cognitive skills.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree.
- Completion of an accredited residency program in Hematology/Oncology.
- Passing scores on relevant board exams.
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and diagnostic techniques.
- Knowledge of oncology treatments and technologies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
