Medical Gas Project & Estimating Specialist

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales and account management teams to handle quotes, takeoffs, submittals, purchase orders, and project workflows.
• Prepare accurate and timely estimates by reviewing plans, specifications, and equipment details, ensuring margins are met.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications, resolving discrepancies and reviewing subcontractor proposals.
• Manage orders from approval through delivery, coordinate submittals, and serve as a primary contact for customer inquiries.
• Troubleshoot order issues, collaborate with vendors and technicians, and maintain organized project documentation.
• Handle multiple tasks including quotes, orders, deliveries, project files, and communication with contractors and vendors.

Qualifications & Skills

• 5+ years of experience in plumbing estimating and project management within a mid- or large-sized contractor.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, mechanical, or medical gas construction; ability to interpret plans and blueprints.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; NetSuite experience is a plus.
• Excellent organizational, mathematical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing high-volume workloads independently or collaboratively.
