Medical Front Office Representative

Position Overview

Total Performance Physical Therapy is seeking an experienced Front Office Representative / Rock Star Patient Ambassador for their fast-paced, growing outpatient practice. This role blends medical front office operations and patient experience management.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly in a courteous, helpful manner
• Check patients in and ensure accurate documentation
• Collect copays and patient balances
• Schedule and manage appointments efficiently
• Answer and manage phones; screen calls; take clear, concise messages
• Provide accurate information to patients regarding services and scheduling
• Balance end-of-day payments and prepare bank deposits
• Explain health insurance benefits to patients clearly and confidently
• Verify prescriptions and ensure PT referrals are current
• Alert therapists promptly if prescriptions or authorizations require action
• Ensure every patient receives a 5-Star experience
• Congduct patient surveys and engage with patients proactively
• Support reputation management and patient follow-up processes
• Aid with workshops, community events, and attendance tracking

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
• Must be willing to work required evenings
• Must be local to the area
