About the role
We are currently searching for a Medical Front Office Coordinator. This position requires great customer service skills as well as the ability to multitask. Ideal candidates will enjoy working as part of a team environment, have a love of working with people, and have good organizational and communication skills. Some medical experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Handle patient scheduling and appointment coordination
- Manage patient records and ensure confidentiality
- Communicate with patients regarding appointments, test results, and insurance information
- Process payments and handle billing inquiries
- Handle incoming phone calls and emails in a professional manner
- Prepare reports and maintain accurate records
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
Requirements
- Proficient in typing
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Highly organized and schedule driven
- Flexible with daily tasks
- Able to work under deadlines and maintain critical thinking skills
- Possess strong interpersonal skills, initiative, and good judgment
- Must possess strong customer service skills (phone and in person)
Qualifications
- Some medical experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a healthcare setting is a plus

- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
