Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly upon arrival and guide them through both registration and departure processes.
- Schedule, confirm, and adjust appointments to help maintain an efficient daily patient flow.
- Enter, review, and update insurance details to support accurate billing and coverage verification.
- Collect copayments and document front-desk financial transactions with accuracy.
- Answer incoming calls, address routine questions, and direct inquiries appropriately.
- Prepare materials and information needed for the day’s visits to keep the office running smoothly.
- Retrieve and organize patient charts and related records as needed for appointments.
- Record, reconcile, and calculate daily charges to support front-office financial accuracy.
- Able to manage multiple front-desk tasks in a fast-moving medical office environment.
- Strong attention to detail with consistent follow-through on administrative duties.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality, with a commitment to supporting a small team.
- Strong communication skills and a patient-focused approach to service.
- Comfort using scheduling systems, entering insurance information, and handling payments.
- Willingness to learn medical office procedures; prior experience in a healthcare front office is helpful but not required.
- Familiarity with patient scheduling, reception duties, and basic medical terminology is preferred.
Requirements

- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or relevant experience preferred.
