Job Description

The Medical Equipment Processing Technician is responsible for maintaining high standards for decontamination, visual inspection, and operational verification of small medical equipment to include IV Pumps, PCA Pumps, SCD Pumps, Epidural Pumps, and Wound Vac. Additionally they will assure proper PAR levels of these devices on the Patient Care floors (as allowed by census, and device availability).

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate of Applied Science preferred.
  • 1 year of experience in Hospital or Nursing Home environment working with Universal Precautions preferred.

Education and Credentials

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate of Applied Science preferred.
