Equipment Processing Technician

About the role

The Equipment Processing Technician is responsible for processing and inspecting medical equipment, including disassembling and reassembling it and processing and managing the associated accessories, in a district office. The Equipment Processing Technician also is responsible for the entry of data associated with these tasks.

Responsibilities

• Process and inspect medical equipment, including disassembling and reassembling it and processing and managing the associated accessories.
• Entry of data associated with these tasks.
• Complete all paperwork and data entry accurately and in a timely manner.
• Stay up to date on the medical equipment in the fleet.
• Clean and inspect medical equipment for functionality, following approved written procedures.
• Ship and receive medical equipment and supplies.
• Assist with inventory management.
• Perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior work experience in hospital setting or customer service preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays, as well as emergency off-hours as required.
• Able to lift and/or push 75 pounds.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of high school diploma or equivalent.
• Physical ability to perform the essential functions of the job, including lifting and pushing 75 pounds.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays, as well as emergency off-hours as required.

Pay

$19/hr + $0.50 shift differential + full benefits.

Schedule

Shift: Monday-Friday, 2:00pm-10:30pm.
