Sutter Lakeside Medical Practice is seeking an experienced and visionary Medical Director of Primary Care to lead our growing team in Hidden Valley Lake, California. Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive primary care strategy that aligns with Sutter Health’s mission and values.
• Oversee the clinical operations of the primary care practice, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to evidence-based guidelines.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with community stakeholders, including patients, providers, and local organizations.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of care and support for patients.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to staff members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Requirements

• A Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
• A current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of California.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in family medicine or a related field.
• Experience leading a primary care practice or similar healthcare setting.
• Strong leadership skills, including effective communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Passion for improving healthcare outcomes and enhancing patient experiences.

Qualifications

• NCCPA Certification (required at hire or within 12 months if applicable; required for billing)
• Additional certifications as required by department
