Medical Director - Penn Urgent Care

Overview

Penn Medicine is seeking a Medical Director to lead its respected Urgent Care clinic in Doylestown, PA. The Medical Director will provide strategic, clinical, and operational leadership, and will partner closely with hospital and health system leadership to align departmental goals with Penn Medicine’s overarching mission and strategic priorities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate and supervise APPs
• Ensure quality, safety, and patient satisfaction
• Provide clinical leadership and oversight
• Communicate effectively with providers and staff
• Lead and motivate a team

Qualifications

• Board certified in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine with an advanced degree in clinical medicine (MD, MD PhD, DO)
• Demonstrated leadership experience in a complex healthcare organization
• Demonstrated clinical excellence in specialty and a track record of a positive working relationship with providers and staff
• Effective communication skills and proven ability to collaborate and lead a team
• Outstanding relationship building skills and ability to hold a team accountable
