Medical Director, Hospitals & Health Systems, Remote

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical performance initiatives to enhance outcomes across all contracts
• Collaborate on clinical strategy aligning with national performance excellence goals
• Own clinical strategy objectives and deploy resources effectively
• Champion Value Based Care through enhanced clinical workflows and best practices
• Act as a thought partner on market operations and clinical strategy initiatives
• Contribute to strategic committees addressing clinical performance improvement
• Adeptly adapt and take on additional roles as organizational needs evolve

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Medicine (MD or DO) required
• Completion of residency in an adult primary care specialty preferred
• Minimum 2 years of direct clinical experience, emphasizing quality improvement and population health
• 5+ years of leadership experience in medical direction or clinical strategy within health systems
• Board Certification in relevant specialty is mandatory
• Strong project management and multitasking abilities are essential
