Remote Medical Director – Remote Telehealth (Part‑time, ~20 hours / month, Independent Contractor)

Responsibilities

• Approve and maintain clinical protocols, standing orders, and care‑plan templates.
• Provide general supervision of Nurse Practitioners and clinical staff.
• Conduct periodic chart audits and quality reviews.
• Review NP escalations and provide clinical guidance.
• Oversee regulatory compliance and HIPAA posture.
• Serve as physician of record for the professional corporation.

Model Overview

The platform delivers a physician‑prescribed creative engagement solution for older adults with chronic pain and behavioral health needs. Nurse Practitioners provide direct treatment while the platform automatically collects daily patient‑reported outcome measures (PROMs). The CoachFlow Companion team handles patient outreach. The Medical Director’s touchpoints are clinical protocol approval, escalation review, and population‑level trend review.

Requirements

• Active MD or DO license.
• Board certification in primary care, internal medicine, physical medicine & rehabilitation, pain medicine, or psychiatry (preferred).
• Active malpractice coverage.
• Comfort with telehealth‑only practice and asynchronous oversight workflows.
• Familiarity with care‑management billing (helpful, not required).

Support Provided

We handle CMS‑855B enrollment, MSO‑PC formation, NP credentialing, banking setup, billing operations, and platform engineering. Your scope is limited to clinical approval and oversight; administrative work is managed by us.
