Medical Assistant - Urgent Care, North Conway

About the role

Join a fast-paced, patient-centered team providing high-quality care in a dynamic urgent care environment. As a Medical Assistant, you will support providers in delivering timely care to patients with a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient intake
• Support clinical procedures
• Coordinate care
• Help ensure compassionate, efficient treatment

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• One year of experience as a Medical Assistant (without certification) or as a MaineHealth Clinical Team Assistant; or 6 months of experience as a certified Medical Assistant

Qualifications

• Current AAMA, NHA, AMT, NCCT, or NREMT certification preferred or achieved within one year of eligibility
• Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date
• NH Med Tech License, or NH EMT and National Registry EMT license is required for those positions located in New Hampshire
