Medical Assistant - Primary Care

Hourly Pay Range: $19.89 - $28.84. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

About the Role

Full-time position (40 hours per week) located at 519 S Roselle Rd, Schaumburg. This role supports a very busy Primary Care office with multiple providers and additional clinical staff.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Must be available to open the office at 6:45 AM once per week and close at 7:00 PM once per week.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for physical examination.
• Obtain specimens, conduct select routine laboratory tests, and record results.
• Perform routine diagnostic tests and phlebotomy.
• Administer selected medications/injections under the general supervision of a physician.
• Perform clerical duties related to clinic operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (REQUIRED).
• Current CPR Certification issued by the American Heart Association (REQUIRED).
• Certified, Registered, or Clinical Certified Medical Assistants (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) must provide current certification or registration through AAMA, ARMA, NHA, or any other certifying agency. At least 6 months of clinical experience (PREFERRED).
• Candidates who are not certified or registered should have at least one year of clinical experience (PREFERRED).
