Responsibilities
- Affords assistance to providers during patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Collects and reviews patient histories, conducts routine laboratory procedures, and prepares specimens for laboratory analysis.
- Follows up on test orders, communicates results to both the provider and the patient, and delivers patient education materials.
- Maintains medical equipment and orders necessary clinical supplies.
- Enters and updates patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Safeguards compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) regulations.
- Performs other tasks as directed.
Requirements
- Approved Medical Assistant Certification within six months of employment or proof of active license/certification.
- Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) certification.
- Paramedic certification.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of medical assistant experience preferred.
Skills

Pay
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
Schedule
Full-time position with hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential variations. Works Monday through Friday. No weekends or on-call responsibilities.
