Medical Assistant or LPN

Responsibilities

• Affords assistance to providers during patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Collects and manages patient histories and conducts routine laboratory procedures.
• Prepares specimens for laboratory testing and communicates results to both the provider and patient.
• Provides patient education materials and maintains accurate medical records.
• Maintains and operates medical equipment, and orders necessary clinical supplies.
• Ensures compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) regulations.
• Performs other tasks as directed.

Requirements

• Approved Medical Assistant Certification within six months of employment or proof of active license/certification.
• Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT), Paramedic, or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of Medical Assistant experience preferred.

Schedule

The position is full-time with standard work hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential flexibility in scheduling as needed.
