About the Role

Join a supportive and patient-centered team in providing specialized care for patients seen in our developmental medicine and genetics practices. Our MA/CTA team collaborates closely with office RNs, fostering a cohesive, team-based environment where everyone shares the work, supports one another, and remains focused on delivering patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

  • Rooming patients and obtaining/documenting patient information and vital signs
  • Coordinating communication between patients, providers, and care team members
  • Supporting referrals and prior authorizations
  • Assisting in scoring psychological assessments
  • Maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment and ensuring supplies and equipment are properly stocked

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm or 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. No evenings, weekends, major holidays, or on-call requirements.

Qualifications

For the Medical Assistant role:

  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Must meet one of the following requirements:
    • Graduated from an accredited vocational institution or community college in Medical Assisting with 160 hours of clinical experience completed
    • Completion of an Adult Education Medical Assistant program and 6 months of clinical experience in a practice setting
    • 1 year of clinical experience in a multi-provider practice setting (equivalent experience will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis)
  • Current AAMA, NHA, AMT, NCCT, or NREMT certification preferred
  • Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date
  • A NH Med Tech License, or NH EMT and National Registry EMT license is required for positions located in New Hampshire

For the Clinical Team Assistant role:

  • Student or graduate of an accredited vocational program, community college, or university in the field of health sciences that required clinical experience for advancement
  • Completion of an MA program that did not require a clinical externship
  • Completion of a healthcare vocational program with a patient-facing component
  • Equivalent relevant clinical patient-facing experience will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis
  • Current BLS certification within one month of hire required
  • A minimum of three months of patient-facing clinical experience required

Pay

The pay range for the Medical Assistant position is $21.09 to $27.12 per hour. The pay range for the Clinical Team Assistant position is $20.27 to $24.36 per hour. Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
