Medical Assistant - Pediatric Multi-Specialty Clinic

Position Summary

The Certified Medical Assistant (MA‑C) is an integral part of the Physician/Advanced Practice Provider (APP) office team, working under the direction and supervision of a licensed healthcare practitioner. The role involves safe clinical skills within the MA‑C scope of practice and continuous interaction with physicians, APPs, nurses, front office staff, patients, and their families/caregivers.

FTE: 1.0 | Shift: Day | Schedule: Monday – Friday Clinic Hours

Up to $5,000 sign‑on bonus for eligible new hires with 1+ years of experience as an MA‑C.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient flow in collaboration with front office staff.
• Interview patients and obtain vital signs.
• Assist patients in preparing for exams or treatments.
• Perform specimen collection, including venipuncture.
• Administer medications in compliance with Washington State Department of Health regulations and documented competency.
• Relay instructions/information to patients and their families/caregivers.
• Send and receive patient medical records.
• Facilitate patient referrals.
• Prepare forms for patients.

Requirements

• Washington State Medical Assistant‑Certified (MA‑C) credential.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a healthcare setting (preferred).
• Current BLS certification.

Pay and Benefits
