About the role
Gateway Regional Medical Center is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide clinical and administrative support across multiple specialty clinics, including Internal Medicine, Pulmonology, Family Medicine, Orthopedics, Hand Surgery, Urology, and Bariatrics.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality clinical and administrative support to physicians and advanced practice providers
- Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs, medical histories, and updating electronic medical records

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program required
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
- Previous medical office or clinic experience preferred, but motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt to multiple providers, specialties, and clinic workflows

Pay
Final compensation is determined in partnership with Human Resources based on experience, certifications, and skills relevant to the position.
