Medical Assistant Medical Office Representative
About the role
As our Medical Assistant, you'll keep the day running smoothly and efficiently for your patients and clinical team. Every day, you will take the lead on proactively preparing patient charts, ensuring all information is obtained and up-to-date for those seen in our facility. You can expect to have multiple patients daily depending on the number of physicians on-site. Your success in this role comes from your enthusiasm to help others, work efficiently, and your empathy for our patients.

- Uses scripted greeting: "Thank you for choosing [clinic name], this is [your name]. How can I help you?"
- Uses scripted closing at every interaction: "Is there anything else I can do for you?" (over the phone and as patients leave the clinic).
Responsibilities
- Proactively prepare patient charts and ensure all information is up-to-date.
- Assist the clinical team in daily operations to maintain efficiency.
- Engage with multiple patients daily, depending on the number of physicians on-site.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or High School GED.
- Satisfactory completion of a formal Medical Assistant program or military training equivalent to an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Preferred: Six (6) months experience in an outpatient setting as a Medical Assistant.
- Preferred: Six (6) months experience in an outpatient setting as a Medical Office Receptionist or equivalent high-volume customer service experience.
- Preferred: 6 months experience as a Phone Receptionist or Health Information Associate within Dignity Health.
- Certified Medical Assistant (AAMA) preferred.

Pay
$20.96 - $29.60 per hour.
