Medical Office Representative
Job Summary and Responsibilities
As a Medical Office Professional, you will be the welcoming face and voice of our clinic, providing essential administrative support for a smooth patient experience. Every day, you will manage patient reception, schedule appointments, handle calls, and guide check-in/out. You'll verify demographics, process payments, and ensure clear communication between patients and staff, maintaining an efficient front desk.
- Manage patient reception and scheduling
- Handle phone calls and schedule appointments
- Conduct patient pre-certification to ensure coverage
- Schedule tests, procedures, and referral appointments
- Communicate with patients regarding appointments and instructions
- Collect insurance information and patient personal data
- May collect fees such as co-pays / co-insurance
Job Requirements
- High School diploma or GED, upon hire
- Courses in and/or knowledge of medical terminology and Surgery procedures, upon hire
- Previous surgery scheduling experience, upon hire
- Computer and applications software experience, none, upon hire
- Prioritize interpersonal skills, strong organization, attention to detail, and tech proficiency
- A calm task management, compassionate approach, and dedication to excellence are paramount

Pay Range
$17.24 - $24.35 /hour
