Position: Medical Assistant (MA) or LPN
Elkader Clinic
Location: Elkader, IA
Shift: Day Shift
Employment Type: Full time
Schedule: 40 hours per week, Day shift. No weekends, no holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Affirmatively assist physicians and other healthcare providers in delivering patient care through patient preparation, vital sign collection, documentation, and basic clinical procedures.
  • Supports the operation of the clinical practice by performing a variety of administrative and clinical tasks.
  • Congruently coordinates patient flow, maintaining accurate medical records, and ensuring a positive patient experience.

Requirements

  • Must have successfully completed accredited Medical Assistant program. MA Certification/Registration preferred prior to hire and required within one year.
  • OR Must have successfully completed accredited LPN program. LPN License in the state of Iowa.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Skills

  • Proficiency in electronic health record systems.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
