About the role
The Medical Assistant III (Flex) position in San Diego, CA is responsible for providing comprehensive medical support to patients under the supervision of healthcare professionals. This role offers flexibility in scheduling and is based on-site.
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient examinations and diagnostic procedures
- Administer medications and injections as directed
- Collect and process specimens for laboratory tests
- Prepare examination rooms and equipment
- Communicate with patients regarding their health status and treatment plans
- Manage patient records and maintain confidentiality
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current CPR certification
- One year of related experience as a Medical Assistant
- Valid California driver’s license
Qualifications
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
