Responsibilities
- Work closely with our primary care physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to our patients
- Aid with a broad range of tasks, including scheduling appointments, taking vital signs, and preparing patients for exams
- Contribute to a positive and team-oriented work environment
Requirements
- A medical assistant certification
- Experience in a medical office setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to excellence and a willingness to learn and grow
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED
- A current medical assistant certification (AAMA, AMT, NHA, NCCT, or RMA)
- A current Basic Life Support Certifications (BLS) via AHAS
- A firm grasp on medical practices, administrative processes, and organizational policies
- A knowledge of patient care and examination procedures
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds, sit for extended periods, and use fine motor skills
- Able to receive and comprehend instructions verbally and/or in writing
- Able to use logical reasoning for simple and complex problem solving
- Able to work independently or with a team
