Job Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical histories, and medication lists
- Aid providers with clinical procedures and patient care
- Show and troubleshoot CPAP/BiPAP equipment as needed
- Perform routine clinical tasks in accordance with practice protocols and state regulations
- Cook up home sleep testing setup and patient instructions
- Administer prescription refills and durable medical equipment (DME) orders
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with insurance, prior authorizations (Medicare and commercial plans), preferred
- Knowledge of EMR – eClinicalWorks, preferred
- Phlebotomy experience, preferred
- Willingness to be cross-trained in multiple clinical and administrative functions
- Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Pay
$18.00/hour
