Medical Assistant II-Infusion Center

Responsibilities

• Supports patient care by performing both clinical and administrative tasks in outpatient and ambulatory care settings
• Assists healthcare providers with patient intake, routine procedures, and documentation
• Ensures a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for patients
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Carries out all job responsibilities in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program from an accredited institution or equivalent experience as allowed by state law
• Typically two (2) years of experience as a medical assistant or in a similar clinical support role
• Current certification as a Medical Assistant through an accredited professional organization (e.g., AAMA, AMT, ARMA, NCCT, NHA, NAHP, AMCA) or equivalent credential as recognized by Kettering Health
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a multi-provider outpatient or ambulatory care setting
