Medical Assistant - Infusion

Role Overview: The Medical Assistant provides direct and indirect patient care in an ambulatory setting under physician or supervisor supervision. They collaborate with the healthcare team, perform delegated medical tasks within legal scope, and follow organizational policies and relationship-based care principles. Key Responsibilities Assist with patient care according to the care plan and organizational policies.Participate in team-based care delivery, accepting appropriate delegation from RN or physician.Carry out designated activities within the scope of unlicensed health care personnel. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or GED; graduate from a Medical Assistant program (diploma or associate degree).Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA).Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Recent Medical Assistant experience within the past year.Strong communication skills, teamwork experience, and computer proficiency, especially with electronic medical records.Flexibility to adapt to unpredictable situations and work daytime hours. Additional Details: This is a full-time, nonexempt role with a schedule from 0800-1630, Monday to Friday, with no weekends or call.
