About the role
Medical Assistants are essential members of the clinic team. They contribute to the healthcare of patients by assisting with exams and procedures, organizing and managing patient flow, and taking on other responsibilities based on the needs of the department.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED (minimum)
- Successful completion of a Medical Assistant training program or applicable Military Medical Training (preferred)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Certification or Registration from one of the following organizations:
- American Association of Medical Assistants (CMA-Certified Medical Assistant)
- American Medical Technologist (RMA-Registered Medical Assistant)
- National Center for Competency Testing (NCMA-Nationally Certified Medical Assistant)
- National Health career Association (CCMA-Certified Clinical Medical Assistant)
- National Association for Health Professionals (NRCMA-Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant)
Pay
Salary Range: $20.64 - $31.47 per hour. Ranges posted represent the expected base pay for the role. Actual compensation may vary based on location, experience, skills, education, and internal equity among Team Members in similar positions.
