Medical Assistant I, Cardiology Consultants at Medical Arts Pavilion I

Duties / Responsibilities

• Greet and support patients virtually and in person
• Prepare patients for visits
• Perform basic clinical tasks such as testing, injections, EKGs
• Absorb and assist with exams
• Maintain exam rooms and equipment
• Manage EMR updates
• Handle patient communications, referrals, authorizations, and scheduling
• Support clerical duties
• Support troubleshooting video visits
• Support patient portal access

Position Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required
• Graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant Program or hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)

Pay

Hourly Pay Range: $19.10 - $27.69

This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
