RAYUS Radiology is looking for a Medical Assistant (MA) to join our team. As a Medical Assistant (MA), you will be responsible for supporting the physician assistant and/or technologist with the daily functions of the Clinic and provide general administrative support to the department. This is a full-time local travel position working Monday-Friday various 8-hour shifts between 7:00am - 5:00pm, traveling to our centers in Blaine, St Louis Park, Burnsville, Woodbury, Shakopee, Plymouth, and Edina. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Welcome patients and escort them to exam roomsObtain and document vital signs and temperaturesAssist providers and technologists during patient visits and proceduresEnter medical histories, orders, and patient information into RIS systemsRetrieve previous medical records and coordinate follow-up appointmentsCommunicate medication concerns and contraindications to providersStart IVs and assist with oral sedation procedures Administrative Support (45%) Monitor clinic schedules and coordinate follow-up and same-day appointmentsFacilitate efficient patient flow throughout the clinicDischarge patients with appropriate instructions and documentationCall or fax prescriptions to pharmacies as directedConduct follow-up calls with pain management patients regarding treatment outcomes and future appointmentsDocument patient preparation calls in RISLogic or aRiesPrepare next-day H&P paperworkAssist with incoming patient calls regarding treatments and proceduresCoordinate scheduling needs with front office and scheduling teamsMaintain exam room and department suppliesAssist with exam room cleaning and organizationProvide daily schedule and task updates to leadership (5%) Performs other Duties as Assigned Remote Position No Status Full-time Requirements Required: High school diploma, or equivalentGraduate of an accredited Medical Assistant education programCertified in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)One (1) year experience using Microsoft Office Suite; Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.Travel is required between sites; a reliable means of transportation is requiredValid driver's license and proof of current insurance is required for the team member to personally drive a vehicle for company business (regardless of whether it's a company or personal vehicle) Preferred One (1) year of Medical Assistant work experienceHealthcare experience in radiologic procedures and medicationsBilingual RAYUS is committed to delivering clinical excellence in communities across the U.S., driven by our passion for and superior service to referring providers and patients.
