Responsibilities
- Assists in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of an urgent care provider.
- Manages the check-in and registration process, interview patients, measure vital signs, and record information on patients' charts.
- Draws and collects blood samples from patients and prepares specimens for laboratory analysis.
- Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients.
Requirements
- High School Diploma required, Graduate of a Medical Assisting Program preferred.
- Medical Assistant experience preferred, Front Desk experience preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required at the time of hire, obtained through the American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA).
- One of the following certifications is required within the first 15 months of employment: CCMA, CMA, RMA, NCMA, NRCMA.
- CPOE certification for order entry is required within two weeks of the start date.
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing or LPN/RN, EMT.
Qualifications
- Basic Medical Assistant duties.
- Ability to type quickly, basic computer knowledge.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Detail oriented, able to rely on experience and judgment to perform a variety of tasks, participate on a team, and accomplish goals.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to interact and treat all persons with fairness, respect, and sensitivity to cultural/social differences.
Skills
- Basic Medical Assistant duties.

Hourly rate: $17.00 - $23.00 based on years of experience
$2000 Sign on bonus for Full-Time roles
