Responsible for pre-visit preparation and schedule appointments.
Efficiently verify insurance eligibility and identify services requiring insurance authorization.
Perform clerical duties, including chart preparation and ensuring accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Utilize electronic health record systems proficiently for accurate documentation and retrieval of patient information, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and organizational policies.
Provide clinical support as needed, including but not limited to wound care, specimen collection, and administering medications under the direction of healthcare providers.
Escort patients to examination rooms, obtain vital signs, and prepare patients for their appointments in accordance with established protocols.

High School Diploma or GED Certification
Certified Clinical Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant or MA-ARMABasic Life Support

Demonstrates a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and basic clinical procedures.
Skill in drawing blood for laboratory testing and ensuring proper specimen handling.
Competent in using electronic health record systems for accurate documentation and retrieval of patient information.
Proficient in performing clinical tasks, including patient rooming, and ensuring proper cleaning and maintenance of medical equipment.
Demonstrates the ability to prepare for and assist with medical procedures.
Competent in performing various clerical duties essential to the operations of the practice, including but not limited to, answering phones professionally, greeting patients, filing, faxing and scanning of documents.
Demonstrates all the Medical Assistant KSA's
