Vancouver Clinic is looking for a Medical Assistant-Certified to join our Pediatrics team at our Salmon Creek location.
Responsibilities
- Rooming patients
- Collecting and documenting clinical information
- Assisting providers with exams and procedures
- Administering medications and immunizations within scope
- Managing patient communications
- Supporting the overall delivery of patient care
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Current Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified credential required, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
- Certification from national certifying entity (AAMA, NCCT, AMT, NHA, etc) as required for MA-Certified credential
- Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider BLS CPR certification
- Previous experience in an outpatient medical setting preferred
- Reliable and predictable attendance
- Ability to work, with or without reasonable accommodation, with a diverse population of patients and colleagues seeking or considering care in all areas, including vaccinations, reproductive health, end-of-life decision-making, and gender affirming treatment
Schedule
- Monday: 8:00am–12:00pm
- Tuesday through Friday: 7:15am–5:15pm
Pay
Hiring range: $22.25/hour to $27.48/hour. Placement in the range depends on an evaluation of experience. Full pay range: $21.81 - $30.53.
